WEST SUSSEX AREA GROUP OF THE N GAUGE SOCIETY

The club was formed in 1986 and meets in Sompting Village Hall, West Street on the 1st and 3rd Fridays each month starting at 7pm and finishing at approximately 10pm.

We aim to have a layout up and running most club nights where members and visitors are welcome to bring and run their own stock.

The club layout is made up of members’ modules which when brought together form a bigger layout.  The module method means less to take home and so keeps the peace!   All the tracks have a common joining point to the next board but the individual can model anything they want whilst the main line trains pass by.

We have a small ‘club’ shop, which sells 2nd hand railway bits and pieces (mainly ‘N’ gauge of course) and can also get some discounts from railway shops that it deals with.

We welcome anyone to come along to see what we are about and enjoy a chat over a cup of tea or coffee.  The club also has demonstrations from time to time about all aspects on railway modelling from members or traders.

The club does take its modular layout on to the exhibition circuit and is always looking for extra help in running it, so come down and see us to find out how you could help.

For more information about the club, layout board details and the exhibitions we are attending then please see the club website www.wsng.co.uk
