LANCING & SOMPTING WINEMAKERS

Winemakers was formed in 1977. The idea was to bring together like-minded people, to share opinions and ideas and to help each other with wine-making techniques. As the club grew in numbers it was decided to hold and enter wine competitions, within the club and the Federation of Wine Makers. The club continues to do well in these.

We meet at Sompting Village Hall on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30 pm. We have guest speakers on all manner of subjects, related to both winemaking and other things of local and national interest. We also have commercial wine tastings.

Our membership stands at about 35, from all walks of life and age groups. Our membership subscription is just £7.50 per year.
